As part of the Eco Warrior program at Star of The Sea, we are affiliated with the ‘Containers for Change recycling scheme’. Containers for Change is a statewide recycling scheme that enables charities and community groups who participate to fundraise for their cause.
Every Friday, students are encouraged to bring their recyclable containers into school and our friendly Eco Warrior team sort them and recycle them for you. Every eligible container collected is worth 10 cents, which can really add up!
If you would like to recycle your containers yourself at a local depot, we ask that you kindly donate the proceeds to our school fund so we can continue making a difference in our school community and in the world’s environment.
